Breaking Barriers—Women in Engineering Event: This event is all about the experiences of women in the engineering field. A panel of speakers in engineering will lead an insightful conversation on being a gender minority in a male-dominant field. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 5-7 p.m. at the Asian and Pacific Cultural Center (2695 SW Jefferson Way). Speakers: Tala Navab-Daneshmand (CBEE), Yelda Turkan (CCE), and Jihye Park (CCE Engineering).
Leadership Academy Summit: CBEE faculty are invited to join the fourth annual OSU College of Engineering Leadership Academy Summit on Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day will begin at the LaSells Stewart Center and transition to the Reser Stadium Club Level for lunch and afternoon activities. The format will be similar to previous years: a professional conference experience with keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and a delicious luncheon. If interested in joining, RSVP online.
