Please check the advising page to be sure you
know who your advisor is. We do make
changes during each term. Then please
sign up for your advising appointment by going to the advising calendar. ---- Any student
that has Dr. Skip Rochefort as their advisor may see Kristin Rorrer for
advising this term. Due to a heavy
schedule Dr. Rochefort may not have enough openings on his calendar and we want
everyone to see an advisor by the time they are scheduled to register. ---- Students can find their

UPDATES ORDER
OF THE ENGINEER - Graduation is
quickly approaching! This means that you should consider participating in the
Order of the Engineer ceremony on June 16 (MU Lounge). This is a pledge, taken by
graduating engineering students, to uphold the standards and dignity of the
engineering profession and to serve humanity. As part of the process you will
be given a steel ring to wear to remind you of your obligation to society. Ring
sizing takes place May 7-9 in the Owen Hall Atrium between 1:00-4:00 pm. Cost
is $20. All ABET-accredited engineering majors are eligible to participate.

schedule a sitting for you. Department Graduation – IF YOU ARE GRADUATING AND HAVE NOT

have asked about the department graduation.
The general program runs as follows: The
ceremonies are held outside of Gleeson Hall.
There are bleachers and chairs so there will be plenty of room for
family and friends. The program
begins between 8:30 and 8:45 depending on how quickly everyone can get
seated. Coffee and other goodies are
provided both before and after the ceremonies in the main lobby. There will be
speeches by the chair, the dean, faculty and students. Awards will be given and each of you will be
acknowledged before your guests. There will
then be a time for the taking of the group graduation picture and time for
photos with family and friends. During
and after this time there is a reception with refreshments in Gleeson 100. The whole
affair should be completed by 11:45 leaving plenty of time for you and your
family to attend the OSU graduation beginning at 2:00. If you need

General Information for All Students
To participate in commencement, a student
must file an Application for Graduation with the Registrar's office, and be a
graduate (or anticipated graduate) of Summer 2006, Fall 2006, Winter 2007,
Spring 2007 or Summer 2007 terms. If you require accommodations due to a
disability, please contact the Registrar's Office at 541-737-4331, as soon as

OSU Bookstore after April 26. ---- Tom Happynook, Nuu Chah Nulth hereditary whaling chief, is scheduled
to deliver a talk starting at 6:30 p.m. in Gilfillan Auditorium on campus. The
presentation, free and open to the public, is part of a spring term course on
Native American philosophies. Discovery Days, a bi-annual
science outreach program sponsored by the The OSAA State Band and Orchestra Championships are today through
Saturday at The Wheel-A-Thon
fundraiser, a wheelchair obstacle course event, is
today and Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. in the MU Quad. The event will raise
money for OSU Multiple Sclerosis Exercise Program and the IMPACT program
(Individualized Movement and Physical Activity for Children Today) for children

Linn Paper Company – Summer wage relief work West Linn Paper company is looking for 4 or
5 students to do entry level operating jobs at their paper plant this summer.
The jobs are rotating 12 hour shifts (rotating days and nights and days of the
