Interests and Research:
Colloidal and interfacial phenomena in bioprocess and biomedical materials
technology: biopolymer structure and function at natural and synthetic
surfaces, biocompatibility, implant-induced thrombosis, bacterial adhesion
and infection, and drug formulation and delivery. Considerable attention
is also placed on strategies for academic program development and delivery
in Bioengineering.
