Research & Teaching Experience:
Research experience has included studying the molecular biology of photosynthesis, the mechanisms of plant virus replication, testing prostaglandins as anti-tumor agents and biosensor research. Teaching experience includs 2 years as an instructor in the Department of Microbiology at OSU and 4 1/2 years as a secondary school teacher in our Oregon public schools teaching chemistry, biology & physical science.
