Education Reform
Because we believe that top-notch undergraduate recruitment and education is a vital means of support for the COE’s Top-25 Initiative, the Education Reform Research area activities in the Chemical Engineering Department are designed to:
• Expand ChE/BioE expertise in recruitment, retention, outreach and diversity into a college-wide resource
• Gain funding in engineering education from NSF/Foundation sources
• Support statewide K-12 Science Math Technology and Engineering (SMET) activities
• Earn a national reputation in recruitment, retention, outreach and diversity through scholarly activity
