Design of Gel Bead Reactors for
biomedical and environmental applications

Design of alginate beads from
calcium chloride and sodium alginate have applications in biomedical and
environmental fields. Experiments are led in designing the beads and exploring
different attributes of the beads. These beads can also encapsulate solids such
as yeast for fermentation experiments.
