Constructed Wetlands

The problem statement in this project was to design a constructed wetland system that would treat dairy waste water.

The experimental method was to test many different things in the water, (BOD., TS, DO and pH) and identify plants. They also had to compare pond configurations.

RESULTS:

BOD reduced between 22% & 52%
TS reduced between 11% & -18%
Pond #7 was the most efficient for the tests run
