Engineering Student Internship - There are new student engineering intern openings in the BCA Materials & Process Technology organization for 2010, spread amongst Composites, Assembly-Joining, Chemical, Metals-Metallurgy, Measurement Technology / Nondestructive Evaluation Engineering and Ergonomics. The descriptions for each discipline can be found in detail on the Boeing website.:
Qualifications: Interface with other members of project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives. Competencies Have basic course work knowledge in applicable area (chemistry, physics, math, mechanical engineering, composites and or material science). Good communication and organizational skills are required with a working knowledge of basic computer tools Microsoft (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc) for communication and data recording. Working towards a minimum of B.S. degree in the areas of chemistry, material science. mechanical, metallurgy, ergonomics, or similar is desirable.
