Engineering Intern - The Engineering Directorate offers outstanding undergraduate through graduate level students the opportunity to engage in practical research experience to further their educational goals. Summer students (scholars) enjoy opportunities to complement their academic endeavors with a summer job in our world class scientific research environment. You will gain hands-on experience and apply learned theory to real scientific problems.
This position is offered as an Engineering Directorate Temporary Student Intern at a salary range of $17.00 - $25.00 per hour for undergraduate students (705.1), and at a salary range of $5000 - $5950 per month for graduate students (705.2).  Exact salary will be based on the educational level achieved within each category.
Qualifications : - Must be currently admitted or enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. - Strong academic achievement in a scientific curriculum (GPA of 3.0 or better). - Communication skills necessary to communicate research project(s), document work, and give a technical talk/presentation. - Ability to work in a team environment. - US citizenship is required for the majority of these assignments.
