Undergraduate Research Opportunities for CBEE Students
Participating in an undergraduate research program is highly recommended if you are thinking about going to graduate school . This valuable experience will give you an edge in applying for graduate school, research fellowships, and job applications. Almost all REU internships are paid and many offer travel and housing assistance.
Please be aware of the starting date for REU's. Some are designed for students at semester schools and start earlier than you will be able to participate if you are planning to complete your spring term classes. Please check out the starting dates and possible late start dates before applying for the REU. I (Tracy Rothwell) would be glad to contact any programs you are interested in to discuss possible start dates if you would like me to - just e-mail me.
