Information for CBEE Scholarship Applications
To apply for a 2009 Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering Johnson Scholarship, submit the following by Tuesday, April 14, 2009 (postmark date).
- Resume
- High School Transcript (an unofficial copy is OK)
- List of activities, leadership positions,
and jobs held during your high school career
- Essay: "What excites me about the field of Chemical, Biological, Environmental Engineering "
(Maximun 2 pages, double-spaced)
SUBMIT TO: OSU CBEE Scholarship - 103 Gleeson Hall - Corvallis, OR 97331-2702.

Pete and Rosalie Johnson Internship Summer Internship
Eligibility: Any first year student in Chemical, Biological or Environmental Engineering (must have successfully completed ChE/BioE/EnvE 102).
Application Materials
- Cover Sheet - Completed 2009 Johnson Internship Application / Click Here
- Resume, which must include:
- High School Information (school, year, GPA);
- list of high school and OSU activities and leadership positions;
- employment history - employer name, dates, and brief description of duties.
Application Materials must be saved in one file as Johnson09_YourName.doc
Submit via email to karen.kelly@oregonstate.edu no later than (earlier is better!) Monday, March 23, 2009 at 5pm PDT.
Students that are selected will be notified prior to the start of Spring 2009 classes and will be REQUIRED to sign-up for CHE 199 (1 cr) in Spring 2009

CBEE School Scholarships (for continuing or transfer students)
The School of CBEE provides up to $100,000 per year in scholarships to ChE, BioE and EnvE students. To be eligible for CBEE scholarships, students must submit a College of Engineering scholarship form. To apply for a 2009 CBEE School Scholarship (ChE, EnvE and BioE students)
through the College of Engineering, submit the following by February 1, 2009.
- Fill out and submit a COE
Scholarship web-based form.
- Print and submit a copy of the above form
to Karen Kelly, CBEE School Office, 103 Gleeson Hall.
Criteria for CBEE Scholarships:
- Academics (greater
weighting for higher GPA)
- Departmental Activities (e.g., AIChE Or BioE Student
Chapter, ECOST, NASA, etc.)
- Extracurricular Activities (especially
community based, such as dorm or house counselor, ASOSU, club
or varsity sports, leadership positions, etc... IM sports are not counted)
- Additional Circumstances you think are important for consideration.
