Friends and Colleagues in the lead paint field:

Due to federal and state budget reductions, Oregon State University will no longer support the Western Regional Lead Training Center-OSU.  After 15 years, hundreds of classes in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska, and thousands of certificates issued, we are closing the training center at OSU.

The head instructor, Mr. Patrick Lehne, has provisional accreditation to present these classes through his own company, WRLTC.  Please contact him at http://www.wrltc.com/ for your training needs.

If you have questions or comments concerning the Oregon Lead program, please contact Mr. Rick Leiker, Program Manager, at richard.d.leiker@state.or.us or Mr. Paul Huebschman, Compliance and Enforcement specialist, at paul.huebschman@state.or.us or (971) 673-0433. Their website is http://www.oregon.gov/DHS/ph/lead/index.shtml .

If you have questions or comments concerning the Washington Lead Program, please contact Ms. Cynthia Sanderson, Program Manager, or Ms. Diane Chrisler, Certification Specialist, at dianec@cted.wa.gov  or (360) 725-5088.  Their website is http://www.cted.wa.gov/site/515/default.aspx.

For the EPA Region X encompassing Alaska, Idaho and the Region X Tribal Lands, please contact Ms. Barbara Ross, Regional Lead Coordinator at ross.barbara@epa.gov or (206) 553-1985.

On behalf of Dr. Peter Nelson, WRLTC-OSU Director, and myself, we wish to thank everyone for the many years of collaboration and participation in the Lead-Based Paint training field.  Until July 1st, you can contact me directly at (541)-737-6839 or ann.kimerling@oregonstate.edu .
