Dr. Mark Dolan's research focuses on biological processes for the treatment of hazardous wastes, and on the fate and transport of organic contaminants in the environment. He specializes in aerobic and anaerobic microbial transformation of chlorinated solvents. He has been involved in a number of field demonstrations of aerobic cometabolic transformation of chlorinated solvents
