Research Interests: 

Dr. Harding serves as both the Linus Pauling Distinguished Engineer and Associate School Head for Undergraduate Programs at the Oregon State University School of Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Environmental Engineering. He brings a wealth of industrial and business experience to both his teaching and role as industrial liaison. He worked in the oil, pulp and paper, and microelectronic industries with a history of responsibilities including process engineering, research and development, product reliability, and worldwide manufacturing and research strategy. He is the winner of the 2015 Carter Award for Outstanding and Inspirational Teaching, is a certified Professional Engineer, and holds 15 patents. His most recent full-time industrial role was serving as a Master Technologist for Hewlett-Packard Company.
