Tyler Radniecki’s research interests include sustainable biological wastewater treatment processes and stormwater treatment by green infrastructure. Of particular interest is understanding how to shape the microbiomes in these systems and how microbiome shape affects treatment performance. Current projects include the shaping of anaerobic digester microbiomes to enhance methane production and the creation of advanced stormwater bioswales to remove emerging contaminants.
