SESEY offers a unique opportunity for high school girls and minority students with an aptitude for math and science in engineering fields. This one-week summer program encourages students to explore the world of engineering and to consider careers in its variety of fields. The program will culminate with a presentation of student projects and a display at the annual Corvallis da Vinci Days celebration.

SESEY is a program initiated by Oregon State University in 1997. It is coordinated by the School of Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering.

Funding for the program is provided through grants from the Camille & Henry Dreyfus Foundation, the Oregon State University Pre-College Programs, National Science Foundation and Bridges Family Foundation.
