Please join the Graduate School, Research Office, and CBEE in congratulating Dr. Dorthe Wildenschild on her new appointment as Associate Dean in the Graduate School.  Wildenschild earned MS and PhD degrees from the Technical University of Denmark in 1991 and 1996, respectively.  She then spent four years as a postdoctoral scholar at UC Davis and at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, after which she worked at the Technical University of Denmark as a Research Associate Professor for two years.  Wildenschild came to OSU as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in 2002.  She was granted tenure and promoted to Associate Professor in 2009 and will be promoted to full Professor on July 1.  In her role as Associate Dean, Wildenschild will work with postdoctoral scholars and fellows, and research associates on the OSU campus and liaise and facilitate collaborations with the Research Office.  She will be splitting her time between work with the Graduate School/Research Office and her position in the School of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering.  Wildenschild will assume her new role on August 1.
