Come to the CBEE Fall Career Reception, held on the evening before the OSU Engineering Career Fair, to learn more about engineering careers, plus current entry-level and internship opportunities! This event is free and open to all CBEE students. The evening's schedule of events includes:

NOTE: Pre-registration will close on October 12 at 08:00 AM - in order to finalize the catering and room set-up. Limited late registration may be available after that date.
All undergraduate and graduate CBEE students are invited upload a resume for the CBEE Resume Book. Resume upload is entirely optional and the link will close on October 23 at noon.
The CBEE Resume Book will only be shared with CBEE industry partners who serve on our Industrial Advisory Board and to companies which participate in CBEE Career Reception events in the 2017-18 academic year.
Goals: To provide career planning insight to students and a unique recruiting opportunity for employers. To provide an opportunity for industry representatives to connect with CBEE faculty and students in an informal setting.
More about the evening
This fun and informative business-casual-attire event will begin with “Career Insights” presentations by industry participants from 5:00-7:00 pm. After the presentations, we’ll move to the catered networking reception – a chance to connect with industry representatives in a relaxed, informal setting. Each participating company will be sending several representatives to atttend the networking reception from 7:00-8:00 pm.

DETAILED EVENT SCHEDULE (subject to change):
4:50 to 5:10 pm – Event Check-in (MU 2nd Floor)
5:10 to 7:00 pm – “Career Insights” conference sessions (MU 2nd Floor)
Industry speakers will each give three 30-minute “Career Insights” presentations, providing information on: their organization, entry-level and internship positions, and potential career paths for engineers.
Choose three company presentations to attend and meet with those and other companies during the reception immediately afterwards.
7:00 to 8:00 pm – Networking Reception (MU Lounge)
Catered networking time for students and company representatives
8:00 to 8:30 pm Event Wrap-up (MU Lounge)
The event space is available until 8:30 pm for extra time to wrap-up conversations as our industry visitors prepare to depart.
